Tottenham are rivalling Arsenal for Rennes midfielder Yann M'Vila after the French club confirmed they have had an offer for the 22-year-old.
Speaking after Rennes defeat to Lyon on Saturday, club chairman Frederic de Saint-Serni, said: 'He has a concrete offer from England.'
M'Vila played the full 90 minutes of the 1-0 reverse and afterwards revealed: 'I am happy. I'm not complaining and I'm playing. As long as I'm at Rennes, I will be available to the manager.
French fancy: Yann M'Vila and M'baye Niang could be on their way to Tottenham
Tottenham are also hopeful of beating Arsenal and AC Milan to Caen's striker M'Baye Niang, 17, with a £6m offer.
And the blows come in threes with Barcelona preparing to offer £11m for midfielder Alex Song this week.
Meanwhile, Nicklas Bendtner has been linked with a swap for AC Milan's Philippe Mexes.
