Powerlifter Esther Oyema claims third gold medal for Nigeria

It is gold medal number three for Team Nigeria at the on-going London Paralympic games as the global sporting showpiece enters its third day.
Esther oyema lifted 135kg to set a new world record in the women’s 48kg powerlifting category.
Oyema’s feat means Nigeria now has 3 gold,2 sliver to sustain its position among the top ten on the overall medal table.
Lafina olesya of Russia picked silver medal while Shi Shanshan of China settled for bronze.
