Azerbaijan 11-0 at the on-going FIFA U-17 Women’s World cup sending the
host country out of the tournament.
Striker
Chinwendu Ihezuo plundered 5 goals to increase her tally to 6 goals and
making her one of the top scorers in the competition.
Halimatu Ayinde and Tessy Biahwo bagged a brace each while Joy Bokiri and Aminat Yakubu scored one each to secure Nigeria’s biggest victory in any FIFA World Cup tournament.
Azerbaijan thus has conceded 14 goals and also recorded the worst performance by host of any FIFA World Cup.
