Options: Both Manchester City and Barcelona are keen on signing Daniel Agger
City appear to hold the trump card,
with Agger happy and settled in England, but Spanish newspaper El Mundo
Deportivo claim close friends of the 27-year-old believe an offer from
Barca would by the most likely to tempt Agger away from Brendan Rodgers'
revolution.
The Danish international has two years left to run on his current Liverpool contract, and has indicated he would be willing to discuss an extension.
The versatile defender moved to Anfield in 2006 from Brondby and has gone on to make more than 200 appearances for the club.
Meanwhile, the Daily Mirror reports that Ivory Coast star Toure could make his way to Barcelona should they miss out on Agger.
